1. Product Overview
PTM is a quaternized cationic conditioning agent, a high-performance polyquaternium derivative specially designed for personal care. It combines excellent conditioning, moisturizing, antistatic, and film‑forming properties in one ingredient.
PTM rapidly adsorbs onto the surface of hair and scalp, forming a smooth, breathable, non-greasy protective film. It effectively reduces hair friction, prevents tangling and breakage, deeply replenishes moisture and nutrients, and improves dryness, frizz, and brittleness.
It shows excellent compatibility with various surfactants, stable performance in different formula systems, and significantly enhances the conditioning effect of finished products, leaving hair soft, shiny, smooth, and easy to comb.
It is a highly efficient, multifunctional conditioning additive widely used in hair care and skin care products.

Key Functions
- Deeply repairs damaged hair cuticles, fills gaps in hair scales, reduces split ends and breakage, enhances hair toughness and elasticity.
- Excellent conditioning & antistatic effect, improves smoothness and combability, eliminates static frizz and flyaways.

- Good compatibility with anionic, cationic, nonionic, and amphoteric surfactants; no precipitation or stratification.
- Excellent thermal & alcohol stability, stable below 80℃, stable in various formulas, not easy to deteriorate during storage.

0.8 – 3.8%
- Shampoo, body wash: 0.8 – 1.5%
- Conditioner, hair mask: 2.5 – 3.8%
Usage Recommendation
Add at the late stage of formulation (below 60°C) to avoid high temperature affecting performance. Stir at low speed to ensure uniform dispersion.
Formula Applications
Shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, hair serum, hair oil, styling products, hair dye & perm products, moisturizing lotion, body wash, hand soap, and other personal care products.
5. Packaging & Storage
- Packing: 50kg/plastic drum
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry, ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and high temperature (>40°C).
- Avoid contact with strong acids, strong alkalis, and oxidants.
- Shelf life: 24 months under proper storage.
- Use within 3 months after opening, keep tightly sealed.
